Avid nature photographer. My background is in geosciences with a BS in geomorphology. I spent 10 years as a private monument scientist working for the USGS and the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. My appreciation for the outdoors stems from my love for science and the natural world that I was emersed in as a child growing up on a farm. To this date, I study botany and teach ecology and lead seminars on geological principles regarding geomorphic processes.
My two companions are my wolf-hybrids whom keep me out of trouble while I am home battling cystic fibrosis in my latter-years of life.
Have no regrets on the path I have chosen and look forward to the next adventure!
